    Why wouldn't it? I use it to drive traffic to my sites which are built around affiliate offers. It's also great for branding. You'll need to make sure you use your videos to create a direct path to your offer. If you just plug an affiliate link directly you might get your account banned.

    i use youtube to promote my site yes, best thing to do is launch a video and buy loads of hits and ratings, the video becomes popular and have a link to affiliate programs in the description :D

    Yes, traffic from youtube has about a 30% lower bounce rate then traffic from google. Go to youtube and find the channel of tigerdirect - which is a computer outlet website. They do reviews of products, and provide a link in the video description.

    Youtube is an excellent way to promote products and drive targeted traffic to your site.

    Yes, It dose. I have a gaming site and I uploaded battles or people playing each other and put in sponserd by my gaming site url and the next day I had a big diffrence on people coming to my site.

    I'm experiencing some really great results with Youtube.
    Funny,entertaining and how-to type of videos, under 3 min length convert the best.
    Boosting number of comments and rating helps rank higher on Youtube and get more views.
    Conversation between your other Youtube accounts, help of friends, promoting on other social networks or even buying views and annotations can help you achieve it faster :D
