Domain reseller

    Hi guys,

In my country, .com/.net/.org domains are very overpriced (about $20/yr). My idea was to register domains with Yahoo! (for $2.99) and sell them in my local currency for about $10 - that would make me a very good profit and I'd still sell them for half of the usual price. "Easy money".

Does anyone here actually does this thing? What are the common procedures? I need to have access to all domains registered with me (so that I can enter my CC number), but it would be nice that users could also access their domain settings. Does Yahoo! offer any special features for resellers or do I need to keep all domains in only one account?

    Thanks a lot!

You'd be better off getting a proper reseller account from eNom

I agree with Blacknight. While you'll pay more than $2.99 at enom (they'll charge you anywhere between $6.99 and $10 depending on how you set up your account and the number of domains you are working with) you will be able to give your customers access to their own domain settings. And if domains really are going for $20 there you'll still make pretty good money.
