    Hi, I bought a domain in auctions and i hosted a wordpress blog. A guy commented on one of my post and asked me to sell my domain to him for 100$.

    Can anyone tell me how to check the value of the domain.?

    you cant get the exact value like that, you yourself have to analyse it that how much are you getting out of your website in terms of traffic and also if you put ads on your website how much you'll earn from that. one quick idea for website value is websiteoutlook.com it'll give you a fair value where does your website stands.

    I was wondering the same because my domain was new. I didn't advertise my site nor i had any visitor to my site.

    If thats the case then $100 is not a bad deal, go for a negotiation and try to get maximum benefit out of your domain. Do a little research on if your domain resembles with or could be important for some brands or get fair assessment of your own domain.
