DP Forum Abuse

Hi,

I saw a user using the redirect from his site to totally copy the Digital Point Forums. His user id is amitpatel_3001.


I am including a thread where he has listed his site in the signature.

I am including his DP Profile too amitpatel_3001

His Website is a CGI redirect of DP Forum even though it looks ugly. But still i think its a copyrights violation knowingly performed by the user. I feel we are all here to share information and help each other with our knowledge and use DP to aid our quest. But this user seems to be destroying the DP forums.

Moderators, can you pls look in to these and save DP from such abuses

 

It's a joke, I think Nintendo made it.

 

No This is not by Nintendo. Nintendo is a well recognized user. This user amitpatel_3001 has copied Nintendo's avatar and cut a part of it and pasted it.

If i am wrong to report can anyone tell me that anybody can copy the DP forums using CGI redirects? Is it not a copyright violation?

amitpatel_3001 has linked to it from his signature because he like it.

It's not a redirect, it get's the page with LWP::Simple, edits it, then shows my version with all the 1337/wacko changes!! ie, the way I would have DP if I bought the boards!!! er atleast on April Fools Day!!!
