DP Meetup

Hi all,

I know its been tried and done before, but I am interested in possibly hosting a meet up here in Reno sometime over the winter. Mt Rose is only a short drive (maybe 20 minutes) so snowboarding and skiing would be open for suggestion. We have casinos so the rooms are cheap. Reno is cheap as F to fly into, and the booze flows like water.

Would this ever be something that could work out or am I just silly for thinking it up?

Reno is right next to Tahoe. Tahoe would be even better because of all the ski resort options. I just see here in Reno being a better option for some because it is much cheaper. A drive to Tahoe is easy. Its just over the hill.

From experience hotels in reno are at least 50% cheaper. Ive got room for three in my car and rental cars are cheap. Or we could just cough up the cash and stay in Tahoe. Either way works for me because I live here.

 

Shawn, you ever ride up at Tahoe? I used to go to Boreal and Northstar but havent snapped into a board in about 4 years now.

I always thought that meatups where those sticky things you put around the house so you could enjoy the smell of your favorite cold cut all the time. They can, also, be used in cars.

Sure I'll go. I like stuff.

 

4 so far. Lets see how this pans out over the next few days and then maybe we can start working on putting something on the calendar.
