It can walk along tightropes, but this time of the year, it just prefers to sleep, and hide in warm spaces :)

    Well glad you noticed.

What's this about hairy beaver?

I shave my Canadian beaver, guess you'd be let down... I find my beaver is more approachable this way and like noppid said, it's better for eating when it's shaved bare.

    What's this about now?

Can I pet your shaved beaver?

I've never petted a Canadian beaver and would love to, for research of course...

I'm British, and according to rumours, we don't get excited, and can be quite stuffy :)

The number one cause of beaver death folks...

Brace yourselves... the tree they gnaw away at to make it topple over so they can drag it away... falls on them, squashing them....dead.

How stupid can the beavers be? They chew down trees and then watch the tree come down crashing on them, lol.

Do beavers even do that to trees? I thought that happened only in cartoons, beavers use wood they find on the ground, don't they?

Yes they do do that, you should see the damage they do. It's a fact, the trees fall over and kill them. I was watching a documentary once on Discovery and found that fact so ironic, yet funny too.
