Dropshiping on Ebay

    Hello All,

I am new here, but I guess that is the right place to post the thread. I am just getting in to dropshiping. I notice most of the people who are doing it, are actually doing it in there own websites. My gameplan is to doint from Aliexpress, Alibaba, Amazon to Ebay.

In my opinion that makes the whole picture a bit different, but still with very high profit possibilities. But I cant help to notice that most of the people do it the other way around (amazon, alixpres etc. to their own store).

So my question here is what do You think? Is this a profitable strategy and way of dropshiping (if someone has experience in this particular scheme, please share info) and what might be your advices to make it work better?

    My points so far are:
    1. Focus on quantity - I will be selling on Ebay, not throught a web site or anything else. So more active sellings I have, the bigger the chance of someone buying something.
    2. I don't need to focus specifically on 1 niche -- I can have i few hot items from completly different niches. I saw a few top rated sellers with 6000+ active listings and they were all random.

Thanks in advance for your time reading my thoughts.

I would never ever do dropshipping on Ebay. The margin in dropshipping is so low. Then, what if the bidding doesn't reach high enough to give you a profit? If you reserve price it you're spending money just for listing it, as far as I know.

If you do decide to do it then start with really really cheap cost, so you don't lose your shirt. But, it is possible to find the right drop shipper (in which you have no to very little competition), and you actually find one that dropships and doesn't piss your customers off. If you find such a seller, then I'd recommend Amazon instead. At least there is no cost for listing.

Remember, you have no control over shipping or packaging, but you are responsible to the buyer.

    Good luck!
