Drupal Vs Wordpress-Which one do you like more?

Ok. everybody. drupal and wp is good scripts.
It is depend when and what for to used it.

When you thirsty you need a glass of water to drink, but when you hungry you need food.

Drupal and wordpress are both pretty good. The thing with drupal is that its meant to be flexible and therefore requires more configuration. While wordpress is more targetted towards blogging and and therefore the focus is to make it as simple to install and use as possible. If you want things to just work out of the box, wordpress is unbeatable.

 

I prefer Wordpress because of the community it has and the flexibility.

I'd have to say Drupal.

 

I like them both a lot, and it really depends on what I'm building and the client's budget. Drupal is a heavyweight and you can really build anything with it. I think it IS the king of content management systems. But if the client has a lower budget and needs fewer features, or just a blog, then WP does the trick every time. Also, sometimes it depends on what mood I'm in But I really like both of them.

 

What I like also about drupal and I don't know if it's so easy to do with wordpress is that I install drupal once on my webserver and then I can create any number of new sites I want using the same files. For instance domainA.com and domainB.com can use the same files. So that if I need to update drupal, I do it only once for the files (I still need to do it several times for the databases)

 

Wordpress all the way. They just got voted number one CMS of 09.

 

Not to mention google starts to drool when it sees wordpress...

 

When it comes to good old fashioned making money, I think wp wins every battle.

 

For simple blogs and article sites, wordpress is probably better. But what if you will want to expand ? What if you will want to have forums, image galleries, maybe show some posts only to premium readers (which means you need to integrate shopping cart somehow) ? You will be limited with what wordpress gives you, and if you start integrating 3rd party software, it won't me as smooth and integrated if it was in single software, like in Drupal.

 

Drupal is the best one

 

I loved WP, now I'm loving Drupal.
I wonder if there is anybody who went the opposite way

 

I prefer Drupal over WP because Drupal is highly customizable. WP may not be a good choice if you plan to have thousands of blogposts..
