    Here's a list of e-zines by keyword:

    http://www.e-zine-list.com/titles_by_keyword/index.shtml

There are thousands. 99% of them are money-pits for the owners -- labors of love. If it's a poetry e-zine, you can bet it's losing money.

There are a handful of e-zines that do really well. Some have huge audiences. I used to love InterText, it had a big following. But it may not even exist anymore. I haven't tried to read it in years. Boing Boing used to be a zine, then an e-zine, now a bloggy something-or-other. It has a massive audience.

Business e-zines usually make money, just by attracting potential buyers. But most of those e-zines are really just glorified newsletters. At least in my experience. :)

You can make money in your ezine by recommending products you are an affiliate of . This works when you have massive audience .

The more targeted ones allow you to reach very targeted markets if you are selling a product or service. Test small and once you find something that works stick with it.
