JV partners in their truest sense are those who actually work with you on a project, whether it be product creation or marketing. We use it more loosely to describe our affiliate partners, those who sell product for a commission on sales.

How do you do market research? Well, in my case, I just noticed that there wasn't much info out there regarding AdSense. I knew I was making money with it and figured others would want to as well. So the light went on and I did the book. It isn't always so obvious, admittedly!

Keep asking the right questions and analyze the marketplace.

I had no idea my site, 500words.com, would take off like it did. Since I Didn't anticipate it, I also had to act fast to launch the Link Sizzler. Both are successful, but not all projects are. Sometimes you just roll the dice and move your mice, you know?

To the rest of the business world, JV does mean joint venture. I'm sure that's what Joel meant as well, after reading his comment.

 

Perhaps some of us at DP could get together and do a long term JV
