i've been looking to convert funds in paypal to funds in stormpay and have come across this site:
    http://www.myegold.com

    1. anyone used it before?
    2. is it illegal to exchange e-currencies like this?
    3. would my accounts get frozen by paypal and stormpay?

    thanks!

I don't know about StormPay, but PayPal will shut down your account if they see you trading currency with it. It's happened to a few people here that were trading for egold. I would avoid it :)

Where does it say that in paypal?

    I found this
    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/use/index_frame-outside&ed=moneytrans

But that seems to be if you're exchanging currency, not transfering money between Stormpay and Paypal.

I'm not sure if it's explicitly stated in their agreement, but if they think you're doing something shady they shut down your account. Their TOS do state they have to right to ban your account and seize the funds in it 6 months at their discretion.

Yeah I have contacted paypal in regards to this matter and more often then not they will limit or close your account as there are too many complaints with people doing e-currency exchangers... It is not actually listed in the TOS but they will limit your account should anything go wrong.

I have a personal unverified account purely setup just for exchanges as I do not wish to risk my business account.

My Stormpay account was shut down because I let a "former" friend use it, he did an e-gold exchange, and it got locked. I had $46 in it!
