    Look for mailchimp, they are free for 500 subscribers or aweber (19$/mo) not sure about the price, but you can go to their websites and read..

    On one of my wordpress sites I use WP Autoresponder which is a free plugin. It is a email capture plus autoresponder. One problem I had with it is you have the option to send out your new blog posts to subscribers, I had that set up but every now and then it would send about 5 copies of the same blog post to subscribers, so I deselected that option and it seems to be working fine now.

    I think a free option is alright for the short term, but you do get what you pay for, so if you want more features you should pay for aweber or get response.
