Embedding a Translator Widget in a Website

I'm trying to find a translator tool (free or paid) that I can embed into a website, something similar to the Google Translate tool. I can't find any decent ones online so I thought to ask you guys.

I'm not looking for a "translate this page" tool. I'm looking for a widget where users can type a word or phrase in one language and get the translation in another.

    I found one at http://free-website-translation.com/
not sure if it's exactly what you are after though as it seems to give you both enter word and enter website, didn't read the code so not sure if you can remove the one you don't want....

Looks like this will do the trick, but with ads on it:
    http://www.gmodules.com/ig/creator?...amebasket.com/translate/translate.xml&lang=en

Let me know if you find what your looking for, if not I'll take a look again, seems like this one is easier to just make using a google api with google translate than it is to find one ready to embed...

These are tools to translate specific pages no the website. I'm looking for a Translate tool that allows users to input words/phrases and click 'submit' to receive the translation.

The first one offers a translate a single word feature, and the second is only for paragraphs you type in, but I noticed on a closer look it just sends the person and their paragraph over to google translate's site taking them away from yours.

You could try world wide lexicon... They have an API and developer kit to allow you to integrate translations into any application or site, which should allow building of a widget or page for exactly what you are after, but you would have to build it or get it built:
    http://www.worldwidelexicon.org/transkit

Here are some more resources that might help:
    http://en.flossmanuals.net/open-translation-tools/ch035_web-translation-systems/
    http://www.word2word.com/mt.html
http://jonraasch.com/blog/translate-it-easy-translation-for-multiple-languages (this is javascript that is easy to modify and have some instructions on that, might not be hard to get it to do what you want...)

    Thanks.
The WordWideLexion option seems to be a pretty good option. Their website is forwarded to http://www.dermundo.com/ with no Translate Kit right now though.

The last option that you posted, the javascript one... It puts Google Translate box on your site. Correct?

What about Google Translate API (https://developers.google.com/translate/)?

Once you get fed up with losing business due to translating tools that are woefully inaccurate, then contact me. I will translate at 14 cents a word in the languages that are relevant. I can decipher (tell you what the message said) at cheaper prices.

You should be able to use the google translate API too yes, I just don't have any first hand experience there myself. It appeared to me that the javascript option there was a thing of it's own, but I could be wrong it could be using the google translate tool I haven't used it myself.
