Employee Skip Day

Back in high school they had a thing called, "Senior Skip Day". All the seniors would just not show up for school that day. Of course there'd be a few geeks and nerds that would. Why not bring the day to the work place, call it it "Employee Skip Day". A day where all employees around the nation just don't goto work.

This includes

Police
Fire
Emergency
Health
Bank
Government


Everyone just doesn't goto work.

We got that. It's called a holiday. For example, Feruary 29th is Wacko Day and iz obzerbed by da federal Government.

 

Sounds like a good idea except what happens when people get robbed/have a fire/have an accident/need money?

 

Can I still apply if I come in late and leave early?

 

This day would only work in shifts.

He he... we had something called "the 15 minute law". If a teacher wouldn't show up 15 minutes after the class have started we would all just leave the room and go out to play. If he arrived then he would only find an empty classroom

 

would that mean, i have to leave home 4 the day since i work from home (mostly)?

 

When Iraq got invaded we went on the anti war march 3 days in the raw. It was a valid reason to skip college. We loved it!

When I was in high school there was also a few nerds and geeks frantically trying to plan Senior Skip Day. They took the whole thing way too serious.
