Anybody here who has used escrow services before please give me your feedback on the process. Which one did you use? Escrow.com?

Can you write in anything in the process? For example can you ask questions about a site and then if the seller lies and you find out about it can they be heard liable?

I'm looking buy a couple high dollar sites and I want to be sure I cover all my bases.

Whenever you are making large purchases Escrow is a good idea to help the situation out. Depending on how large you mean, it might just be a better idea to get a lawyer involved to write up some legal agreements. This will ensure if you don't get what you're expecting and what's laid out in the agreement, they will be liable.

I'm on of few maybe, but very dissapointed with escrow.com. It was the buyer of my domains who was a slow payer also, and it took over 2 months before I got the money. Regarding your questions about if the seller lies, I think you rather should contact a laywer just as TheException is saying.
