European Community, VAT, payment gateway

    Hello,

    My business is situated in Europe and I am selling goods. I am interested is there any payment gateway that deals with tax or I have to do it by my own since the client is from European Community?

    I would like to use payment gateway that will give my customer an option (in the checkout processing) to choose from where he is, and that the payment gateway charge the tax based on the country he have choose. Is there any payment gateway dealing with services like that?

    Yes, that's right. It's hard to find some payment gateway that will calculate VAT and pay it to the necessary authorities. There is for example fastspring doing it, but they only sell softwares, not services and goods. :/
