I just had to laugh when I saw this.
Would you even consider making your own navigation menu look almost identical to the Google ads, rather than the other way around?
Gotta love the right column that looks for accidental clicks.
I'm sure the Adwords clients really enjoy those non-converting clicks as well.

I don't know if it's my lack of sleep or just the site itself... but I couldn't stop chuckling at that...

I'm so amazingly interested in what a Google rep has to say about that.

Heh, yeah - just goes to show the power of the initial post, whether it leans postive or negative will tend to sway the entire thread.

I'd be amazed tho' if that site doesn't violate Google's TOS.

I can't think of a reason for it to be in violation of AdSense's TOS, what particular point are you thinking of ?

Not at all, I never see more than three ad units, in fact the webmaster is not using adsense at its most since he doesn't display adlink nor referral products and is not even using all three available adsense blocks in every pages!

Tonyinabox maybe you missed the point in this site's ad integration: he made his menu looks like the standard adsense block rather than changing the colors of the adsense to match his site. He wrote AD INTEGRATION the same way there is written Ads by Goooogle, maybe it's that which confused you, or I missed something.

ahahahaha! This whole thread is silly!

Thanks for pointing out what seems to be obvious for some and not for others:

He created his site to match the Ads by Google instead of the other way around!

I see that he did a great job in making his site fit adsense instead of trying to make adsense work on the site.
This is something we all do, try to make adsense fit into our sites.
I can see that with some tweaking, logs, banners, color, etc that something this basic can do any website a world of good.

I am going to experiment with it on a few sites just to see what develops.

After taking a closer look at it, it's very hard to say if in fact there are any Adsense TOS violations, to be honest.
I got a laugh out of the stats according to his counter, however.
Lots of hits from this website...but not much else.
Obviously doesn't make a dime off of the site.

So then- if there are no TOS violations....
Is it scraper (MFA), or is it brilliant??

Whether or not he's violated Adsense TOS he's only got one set of ads above the fold. Not the smartest use of advertising no matter how sneaky it appears.
