although I think it's against the TOS I think it is a very nice Adsense integration:

do you think it's ok the way it's done here?

(I am talking of the ad on the top/right next to the picture of the woman)

Hm, it is very nicely blended. It's hard to say whether or not it violates Google's TOS, because their opinions vary depending on each employee. I'd say a border between the two would justify it, though.

To be honest, I don't think so, because the yellow makes the whole area stick out, plus the ads by google is clearly visible and there is a space between the image and the text, although you're right, a border would probably help.

The ads are blended really well. Why is it that you cant have images next to a google ad?

I would say it's borderline, if you put a border in between the ad and the image or if you put more margins between the two I guess that would be fine but obviously it always best to ask adsense support.

its against googles terms because the terms say that you can not use any picture which directly points to the ad and this picture is directly pointed to the ad.

I would say that the tos were being abused, because there is no bored between the ad and the image, and the image is directly bringing attention to the ads.
