Experimenting with adsense adsense placement on high volume page

Hi Guys,

I'm mostly a lurker and I have learned a LOT over the last month. For the most part, I have thought adsense was sucky for our sites since we hadn't done that well as compared to Burst and all the others. HOWEVER, after some of the tips I recieved here that have really paid off (not on the site linked below) I've seen what everyone else has already recognized: that is, Adsense can be a lot more valuable than the normal ROS banner networks.

Having said that, this site was designed NOT for adsense as you will see. However, I would like to experiment on a particular page on one of our sites with adsense. I chose this page because, even though it is dynamic, the adsense ads change based on the content of the page. We just lack the know-how on where and what unit size will give us the highest eCPM.

I'll use some of the suggestions and report back with the findings on what position works the best just in case anyone cares. That page is viewed several million times in a month so it won't take long to get an idea of the eCPMs (I think?)

Here are some things we cannot do:
- move the ads that are on the left
- add a 728x90 or 468x60 banner anywhere

pretty much anything else is fair game, including moving content around!

I agree with the placement by Notting. I would put a link unit at the top under this... Fight Finder | Fight Stats | Power Stats

That will do very well for you.
