    Do you have cpanel / fantastico on your site?

    If so , your Joomla site can be setup in seconds.. Well the basics..
    After that , you can really use any template you want as long as variables for joomla are used...

    Stuff like:

    <head>
    <? header_stuff ?>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div=logo <? logo_stuff ?> /div>
    <?content?>
    </body>

    Where the template is as it looks in html , but you (using PHP editor) insert the various Joomla bits...

    Sorry if a bit vague..!
