    It seems the #1 thing talked about here is proxies!

    What exactly are they? Those things where you enter the URL and it fetches it for you, or what? I also know there are other proxies where u just enter their IP into your browser's settings...

    Is it illegal/are there any legal issues? I'm confused. Someone clear this up for me :)

    Proxies are things designed to fool websites into thinking you have a different IP so you would be aloud to go to web sites that have you blocked. Because they wouldn't see your computer going there. It would see the proxie's "IP" going there. I hope this helps. It surely answers part of your question :)

    I don't think this is illegal, why so many people would do this... There are many classic 8080 proxies and never heard to be not legal.
