extracting email addresses from document: how?

    I hope this is the best section of the forum.
    I am trying to extract email addresses from a document.
    The document is a spreadsheet and I have Neo Office and Google Docs to open it but I can also just open it in BBEdit.
    I found a thread online saying that you can GREP-search for an email address using: [a-zA-Z0-9\-_.]{1,}\@[a-zA-Z0-9\-_.]{1,}
    This does work, it matches the emails in BBEdit but I don't know how to extract them to a fresh document.
    Can anyone help me figure out how to do this using either BBEdit or Neo Office or Google Docs?
