    ermm.. Facebook for traffic,twitter for rank :) good for blogger and webmaster.i think you need to have an account from both. FB and twitter

    I agree with this. I find twitter is better for business networking, but I find Facebook is more useful for website promotion. Both are useful for both purposes, and both are also fun for casual use.

    in order to know which one is better(facebook or twitter)...go to yahoo main page and see there...there are facebook shares in thousands and tweets in hundreds..

    I would expect twitter users to have a shorter attention span, but my data actually suggests that, for my sites, I get slightly more views per twitter visit than per facebook visit. Both are a similar % of new visits. Overall, the traffic from both sites looks rather similar. On my sites, I get more traffic through facebook, but it falls a little short of the 2:1 ratio; mine is more 3:2. But I suspect that I'm under-utilizing facebook.

    Facebook is better all around. Twitter may be better in a few circumstances. Compare brands on both networks. Coca~Cola has nearly 22 million fans on Facebook. Compare that to its 186,000 followers on Twitter.

    I do not like twitter. There are just people who will follow you in hope that you will follow back. In case of facebook , there are so many activities that you can do to promote your business not restricted to following people and 140 char. post...
