    It's just a false news/rumor. And it is almost impossible to close such a big social platform/money making machine/business. And very soon, facebook entering into the stock market to trade its IPO. If Zuckerberg listen to this rumor he'll be shocked :p

    hello friend, no way.. even if mark was to leave facebook he would sell it for multi billions of dollars. But I doubt it very much indeed. Facebook has been currently updating there system to stay current and increase user fluidity, they spend millions each year just on this... they are very much in the game and will not close for many years to come...

    ofcourse you can never say never and anything is possible but it is still not going to happen anytime soon...

    Its a rumor I had heard this rumor in last year as well but this has nothing to do with the facts. In-fact facebook is planning of making its own new search engine for competing Google in 2012.
