    Hello all DP members. We are currently working on a new project called ThatsUP.
    its a social network, actually its exactly like facebook with some other features.The main difference is it will be Only For College Students who has a collage email.
    it will have all the main features as facebook and it will have some tools that will help collage students to make their collage life easy. Users will be able to see all activities with in their college from their news feed.
    The site will exactly look like the facebook in 2008.(the legend facebook design that everybody likes)

    there is no exact date for the final release but we are planning to launch the beta in 20 days.

    we dont think we will.

    but we need your experiences on this, would we face any legal copyright issues because of making the same design ? is there an example of this? or is it fine to have the exact same design if none of their codes are copied.

    I'm not an expert on this but your logo is the same style as facebook and if you use the same layout/colour schemes issues might arise. Anyone an expert on this that can comment?

    So it's just like Facebook, except all your friends can't use it, so it's a social network that you can't actually connect with your friends. Sounds like a really good idea. lol

    If facebook.com sued fuckbook.com and took there site for being a totally different website... They will surly sue you for copying every bit of there original business plan.
