Facebook group not showing all posts

I'm encountering a problem with a Facebook group not showing me all the posts that are being posted. The group is private group set up to give away items which would otherwise go to the dump.
The group gets 20-30 posts a day. When I view the group, I only see posts made by the moderator or by myself, with maybe one or two other posts spread over a 2 week period
New posts appear in my facebook feed, and I can see them when I follow the link.
But they aren't visible when I go to view the group.
I've tried various combinations of show newest, sort by relevance etc, but no change
I've left the group and rejoined , no change.
Ive created a new alias and joined as that, no change.
I can post in the group and see comments on my own post.
I've tried accessing from a windows PC, Android mobile and an Ipad. Same result.
It used to work but it doesn't now.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

 

That sounds super frustrating! It could be a glitch with Facebook’s algorithm or settings. Have you tried clearing your browser cache or reinstalling the app on your devices? Also, check if the group has any specific filters or post-approval settings enabled. If nothing works, reporting the issue to Facebook support might help. Hope you get it sorted soon!

 

Check Group Settings... I think there is a setting for Filters.

 

Thanks for that suggestion. I didn't think it could be the cache because it's the same on multiple devices. However I've tried everything else so i did delete the cache and it made no difference. I've signed in on my wifes facebook profile and it displays all the posts. Same device, same IP , same app, just different profile. So in my mid it has to be something in my profile settings which is causing my issue. I may just give up, leave that site and use a different but similar one.

 

Could be. I'm not aware of being able to change group settings. Where would I find that button? I can only change the posts I see by most recent, most relevant or new posts
