    Well Facebook is better than twitter, no doubt about that.
    In facebook you can target the audiences by using images, videos, title, content and comments. On other hand to target audiences on twitter, first you need to have lots of followers under your belt. In Facebook you can get more and more eyeballs only by doing some viral marketing which will eventually get you decent amount of traffic to your site. However you cannot doing any such thing in twitter.
