Both sites are good but still if i have to choose one then i would say Facebook.

 

Its depend your site, If you are working for pic, video, something funny, entertainment or many more then I think Facebook is a good plate form but I you want to share thoughts, idea, about you then I think Twitter is good for you.

 

Depends on your market. Since young people seem to be abandoning Facebook, you'll probably reach older folks there these days. Why not use both?

It is important to share content wisely. Conetent that includes images, videos and infographics can get better traffic from Google Plus and Facebook where as if you want to make more request update go for twitter.

One more thing while you use social sites for promotion don't forget to use peoper #tags and @symbols.

 

The hashtag on Twitter is an amazing tool, that's for sure. The ability to search across the whole of Twitter for a single hashtag is something that Facebook is only just introducing after seeing Twitters' success. I wonder if Facebook can make theirs anywhere near as good as Twitter.

It actually depends on your crowd and your posts. If you you post an interesting content and you are being followed by the right audience, then I'd have to go with Facebook.

 

Facebook would be best, I find more people find your post on Facebook than twitter and their is more chance of someone who is not on your like/friend/followers list of seeing your post

I have started to use twitter and facebook together to build my list. You really need to use both if you want to get maximum results. Some people sell with banners and sales speels on facebook. This is not how the professionals sell. You need to build a relationship and offer something for free so they can come to your blog and optin, from there you can build your list.

 

It's not "which is better". It all depends on how much you use it, if you use it right, how much you interact, and whether or not you give value. Also if you avoid spamming you'll get alot better result.s

 

Facebook gives you more traffics, Twitter is next in line. You can share text, images and videos in FB as well as chatting with friends. That's its strengths.
