Facebook Username

    Any one faced this problem?? Can't set a username for facebook fan page. It shows username must be atleast five characters long while i gave eight characters.

    You need a certain number of fans before you can change the URL, if that's what you mean.

    Other then that, simply picking the username sometimes gives errors if the name is already taken.

    No, that's facebook's problem. Just now cleared and i set that. We need just 25 fans to set a username.

    You can't register "premium words" on Facebook because they're reserved... for instance, facebook.com/diamonds or whatever.

    Thousands of people were getting this error, it was a FB glitch. It is working properly now after about a week of being broken.

    first time i face this problem.its very easy.first make more than 25 fans and also 25+ friends on your account which you use to create fan page and finally choose an unique name.i hope your problem will be resolve.if not then you can also verified your account by mobile.i am also ready to help you.

    yes i have run into this problem, i had exactly the right amount of caracters and it wouldnt let me use the one i wanted. i had to try so many time befor i was able to get something even relavent to my company
