Facebook Vs LinkedIn

Hi Friends Sometimes I think, trends in Social Media change even faster than technology. At least lot seem to change since the last two OCC Meets on the subject. Sometime back we had this understanding / implicit code: Facebook - Personal LinkedIn - Professional Twitter - In between But recently I am seeing Facebook being used for focused professional objectives, engagements as well. Would you engage with CXO dialogues in B2B space over Facebook? What's your take on the whole subject? Thanks!

 

For, I would prefer facebook because it has many features that you can avail. Participating to every groups allow you to post ads to promote and gather traffic on your website by linking it to your ads.

 

I also like Facebook more because it has much more users.

 

Facebook having more users than linkedin. Since linkedin is more professional site than facebook...

 

Facebook is a social network in which users interact with each other for general topics, interests and friend stuffs. On the other hand LinkedIn is a professional network on which discussions are more serious and career oriented. Profile looks more professional than facebook.

Facebook is bigger, more social, casual, so its easier to reach your market. Kids, Parents, Teenagers, etc.

Linkedin is more serious, HR people are the ones who use it more regularly, young adults and mostly people from IT.

Well, both are social networks. Both are very important at their places, linked-in is the top of the professional network and you can create your professional linked-in account very easily and by that you can connect with a number of professionals, and you can create your own group there describing your services and a lot more than that ... while face book all knows is one of the emergent social media and lot of people are using it and its number of users are increasing day by day even in hour by hour.... face book fan page is another very excellent way to promote your business...

So, i personally think both are very strong at their places.... we should create accounts at both of these networks and should play role in both of these on daily bases...
