Their is no rocket science of doing something and in instance you will be receiving numerous notifications of people liking your status or something you posted on wall. The one thumb rule you need to know which is very simple that people usually follow or like the stuff which is extremely informative, funny, shocking, interesting or some latest news. To make your business links liked organically by users required a case study and and them implementing different plans you made after doing the case study :)

    Two tips:
    1. Increase your friend list.
    2. Ask your friends personally to like it.

    1. Be active on Facebook and interact with your circle of friends on a regular basis.
    2. Join some interest groups and ask the members to "like" your links, news or anything you post. Facebook has a lot of groups dedicated to "liking" fellow members' content.

Why do you want likes? What are you planning to do with them?

Otsourcer is right. Lots of people get "Fake" likes, but they can be useful, depending on what your goal is.

    1. It creates buzz around your page. The likes do come from actual facebook users (if your source is reliable). So they see your page and all their friends see your page as well. Then if even one person in the second tier likes your page, all THEIR friends see your page. And you're on your way to viral.

    2. Even if it was just a number, when people happen upon your page, it looks like it's the place to be. So they may stop and browse for a bit. If they like it...you get the picture.

Also, try more social media outlets like YouTube and other Web 2.0 sites. Play all the soial medias and you'll come closer to your goal.

    Good luck! :)

Actually the companies providing the best products to their customers will have more likes then all other fake pages.
Well you can add the friends then you can tell them to like your page..!

hmm , everyday add some relative friends , and then invite them to like your page , and sharing the funny or helpful posts for them , or add a "like " button on your site .
