International Chinese Language Day on April 20 celebrates the rich history and unique features of the Chinese language. With over 5000 years of history, it's one of the world's oldest languages. Instead of an alphabet, it uses "hanzi" characters, with over 50,000 in total, but only 3000-4000 in daily use. Mandarin is the most spoken dialect, and pronunciation nuances are crucial, where tone changes can alter word meanings. Happy Chinese Language Day! #ChineseLanguageDay
