We started watching Supernatural last week, looks to be decent, getting rave reviews so far, but, not really looking forward to anything.

White Sox winning the World Series and Da Bears winning on Sundays. :D

That will more or less be the extent of my TV viewing.

I watch about 1 hour of TV/week for the last 6 months. I got into TV on DVD and now can't stand regular TV, the commercials, the corporate logos that take up 1/4 of the screen...

I have quite an extensive TV on DVD collection and regular TV just can't compete.

I caught the premiere of 'My Name Is Earl' last night. Best comedy I've seen in a while. Hits home, I've always had the attitude that what goes around, comes around.

A real no-good type, he wins $100,000 on a scratcher ticket, gets hit by a car running around whooping it up. Loses the ticket. Wife divorces him. Gets the idea about Kharma from watching Carson Daily, makes a list of things to make up for, and after picking up the motel parking lot (making up for being a litter bug), finds it again.

That's the basic theme - he goes to help a guy he used to pick on get laid, finds out he's gay and decides not to. The ex shows up, beats him with a telephone, demands her half of the money. He sees that as Kharma, and goes back, helping by taking him to a gay bar, and boosting his confidence. 'The one man I was most afraid of, has accepted me as I am.'

Earl's brother, Randy, is still a little shaky on the idea, which only helps the shenanigans.
