Does anyone know of any fast content management system. I've been using joomla and its just too slow for me.
It takes forever to complete anything. I prefer using CMS but it would be nice to have one that loaded very fast and made editing easier

Joomla is not the culprit. The speed of your own connection, your host, your pc... etc.

i run all my site on joomla, and it's ok.
just try to compress the js scripts, cache is on if it possible, compress your image, using div instead of table layout

yeah I'm agree with bandung, you could increase your joomla based website by using speedy plugin or Page Cache component.

I am very happy with Dragonfly CMS. Check Angkorthom.US for example.

I found Joomla plenty fast - you can even use Blogger API or other to write content in your desktop app and push it up to site directly.

    Simple is different from fast.
    Dragonfly is good for simple
