feelgood moment - adsense changes are working!

so many of you have suggested to try alternatives when using adsense. Use different colours, link styles, positions, etc, etc. I tweaked my adsense units on my pages last night at 3am......... yes, i sleep with my laptop!

placed colour link unit under my nav bar as well as one in the bottom banner (the bottom banner is an include file in my pop-up clue, so gets plenty of exposure....... )this has just quadrupled my adsense earnings compared to the whole of last month!! and we're only 5 days into August - 99% of August earnings occurred in the last 14 hours!! wow!

my traffic is also increasing to approx 3000 visits per day- might have something to do with all the articles, directory submissions lately and new features on the site. googling for "pixaprize" used to come up with 19 results a couple of weeks ago, now i get over 20,000 results.

i've started to relocate the hidden prizes during the competition, which gains me repeat visitors who're playing over and over again - more subscriptions, more registrants!

it does pay to play about with various adsense ads.
