fireworks cs4 to photoshop cs4 problems

    Hi all.
    I have been a Vector graphic designer for some time, and have plenty of experience with illustrator, so when i came to designing websites, fireworks was my obvious choice (since it acts alot more like illustrator than photoshop does).

    Now i have reached a point where i feel i need the power of photoshops raster tools to go forward. So i open fireworks, open the existing design comp and select [save as psd].
    However, the resulting psd does not contain gradients, and a whole load of strokes are missing of certain paths as well??

    Anyone have any experience with converting fireworks pngs to psds and knows what im doing wrong?

    This is really bugging me. Im sure its a simple setting, as the cs4 suite in general seems to interact very well.
