First Time with AdSense - New Site - Please Comment

    Hi all,

Okay I'm 24 hours into my first AdSense adventure, and I did the best I could. Please check out my ad placement and let me know if I'm barking up the right tree. I'm open to any criticisms or suggestions, and please inform me if I did anything wrong (I was careful to study AdSense TOS).

    http://www.studentflyingclub.com

On the top of each page (after the banner and list-menu), I have a blue heading box. I was wondering if I should put my leaderboard ad above or below the box. Aesthetically, I think it looks better below. Right now I have it above the box because I figured it would be seen better and would be closer to the list-menu. Give me the scoop on that.

If you click on the Daily Journal, I placed ads only on the first 5 pages (days). But you can get the idea of how I'm going to place them on the rest.

Also, this is the first time anyone's seen the site - I just launched it yesterday - so let me know what you think of it, and ways it can be improved.

    Thanks in advance!

That's a pretty nice site, Vozzek.

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking you should move the link ads to where the block ads are and vice a versa. But I don't know; I am by no means an expert at Adsense. Be best just to do testing, I suppose.

    Good luck

Thanks, and yep... my gut tells me to swap the block and link ad positions. I'm with you on that one. But having no Adsense experience I couldn't begin to imagine if it would be more effective one way or the other.
