I have just signed up for a "walla" email account and thought I finally found a useful email site. But I forward my previous emails to my new walla account and though the email is there, the contents were empty. Several emails lost, I felt satisfied that my emails showed up and didnt bother to open one.

Now I realized I screwed up but I want to tell them about this but how? Obviously I am missing something on their webpage because I do not find their contact information anywhere?

Does anyone know where their contact information is?

    TIA,

    Linda

There are plenty of gmail invites if anyone wants one. Also SpyMac.com has free 1gig and so do a few others. There are many choices now. ;)

Thanks guys, I guess I will go check out the others. SpyMac and spy anything would most likely be blocked by my employers security group. These people are so parinoid that the whole group needs to be on prozac! I'll check it out though. Thanks for the tips.

since hotmail started, we have seen sooooooooooooo many free email providers come in and go ... only the reliable ones survived and will survive ... why go for others when u have gmail, yahoo or hotmail around... i wud still think yahoo with 100 mb is pretty good (atleast thats not a beta version :) ) and if u need more space get gmail .. invites are freely available ... and the price of an invite is less than a dollar at ebay .

I've always used Hotmail for my accounts. Only a couple are hosted with Netscape instead.

My main email account is with MSN. I'm very happy with Microsoft's service, and I feel the amount of space they provide for email is more than ample. If you are getting too fulll, MSN/Hotmail is easy to configure to be downloaded with Entourage, Outlook, and other Microsoft email programs.

I have nothing good to say about Yahoo's email, Hotmail or anything MSN. No good experiences there at all!!!!! Bad experiences with canada.com, canoemail.com and altbox.org.

The best eMail I've ever used is fastmail.ca, and while I still have my free account (for years now) they don't offer new free accounts anymore. The biggest thing about fastmail is quick and easy. No long pageloads at all!!!

Jaydemail was okay but they stopped service. Along with others over the years. This is a big one for me. I want services that'll stick around! As well ones that won't alter services so much you don't want them anymore (like canada.com).

I've had many different eMail services over the years but currently I'm using my main pop3 from my provider, fastmail as my mobile email, canoemail as the email I sign up for things (it's heavily spammed and an unwieldly interface) - as well these are the addresses I've had the longest.

I'm now testing gmail, walla, and thefreesite email services. I don't much care for thefreesite's service. Gmail looks good but it's beta. Walla really impresses me in a lot of ways. In fact it would easily become my favoured eMail except for one thing.... The SEND button will not function for me. I get and read emails just fine but I cannot send a composed email or even send a reply. The buttom simply does not function. This would be a fixable issue but there's no contact information....

So, Walla looks to have the best potential for me, but a complete lack of tech support leaves it in the "may never use" pile.

Does anyone yet know of a way to contact Walla! Communications LTD.???

    K

Yahoo has just upgraded with new folder features - but also enjoying the uncluttered fast loading Walla so far.

BTW: even though some threads are older - people are finding out about them through Search Engines - This thread is both 2 and 3 on Google for "Walla Email", so new searchers are learning about this forum
