    Do you know of any open-source logo software or free online logo designer? Please share. I've been looking for some decent tools to make logos but cant find a really nice one.

    I hv come across free favicon creators but none for creating logos as yet, best choice would be to create one yourself using GIMP or photoshop.

    Balthaser.com - does allow you to design and create your sites online (including logos) - you may opt for 30 day free trial to select the best option if that suits you, or, pay a few $$ on DP Forum to get experts to make one for you.

    There are lot of freeware designing tools such as Paint.Net, Inkscape, Krita, Blender and many more. Blender is for 3D graphics animation.

    I would have to ask, why open source?

    You just cannot beat illustrator for logo design.
