Free PR7 link - guess how many Halloween Lights I'll do in 2005.

Yea, you read the subject right - a free PR7 link for the person who comes closest to guessing the number of Halloween Lights I put for 2005. It's late at night and I just had this crazy idea, so I better post before I change my mind.

Some data to help you in your guess. First, Halloween isn't as big of a deal for me as christmas and a quick summary of those two URL's is that Halloween/2003 had 3,890 lights and Halloween/2004 was 3,715 lights. This is considerably less than Christmas: 2000-12,000, 2001-16,000, 2002-22,000, 2003-3,500 ("Burnt Out"), and 2004-17,000. All numbers are approximate! ;-)

I try to do something different each year, but I suspect it will be similar in magnitude as in previous years ... although Bugville will be making an inaugural appearance. I don't want to post too many links here, but astute folks will find more info on my halloween blog and what's new for 2005 pages.

Fine Print: I hope to start putting the Halloween stuff out next week so lets say October 1st is the deadline - I might extend that a few days if I get behind schedule. Link will be placed on Hulk's Page (currently PR7) and MUST be family friendly - i.e. drugs, gambling, etc. won't work - stuff like real estate might be acceptable if not tacky. Link will go up after a winner is declared (and an acceptable link/anchor-text comes from them) and that same link (no, I'm not going to change it every week for 'ya) will stay up through Thanksgiving. Answers must be posted in this thread and you only need to say a number - and lets say no more than 3 guesses per person. In case of a tie, person who guessed first wins ... or optionally has the funniest post. No entry fee and no link exchange required/requested - you just gotta be a member of DP and post your best guess(es) here. My decision is final - no whining - it's just a fun contest, allright.

P.S. I'm not in the link exchange/selling business, so pls don't contact/PM about that.

Just used Google Earth to check your house. I counted it 3 times and there are 5667 of them. If I don't win, it means you've counted it wrong. Case closed.

    413,000

    Because that reads ALEK, somehow.

But because that's a bit much, I'll go for 4134 coz if you flip the vertical line of the 4 to the left, yo get a K anyway.

Now I hope for a draw because I've got the coolest explanation...
