    I like the "symmetry" of that 3333 guess, but it is almost certainly going to be low. I posted some pictures in this DP thread that might be helpful.

    I hope to finish putting up the lights this weekend, so get your guesses in the next few days and I'll call a winner pretty soon.

    Update: Here's a picture of what it looks like tonight. This is probably close to 4,000 lights and I still have the upper icicles to go, so you definately want to go higher than that with your guess.

    OK guys, it's raining like a mother here in Colorado (should have snow on the ground Monday morning), but I didn't make any progress this weekend - it was my anniversary, so spent some time with the wifeee - no kids - yippeee!

    I should close out this contest and award that PR7 link (remember it HAS to be family friendly - see the first post) ... so I'll announce a winner Monday night (i.e. less than 24 hours from when this post goes up) by counting the number of lights I have up and adding in the ones left I plan to put out. Whoever is closer (doesn't matter if you go over) gets that PR7 link.

    I've repeated the "fine print below" - said 3 guesses were allowed. BTW, there are 4,000 lights up NOW, with the upper deck icicles still to be placed ... so you guys need to go higher ...
