    I have, the site had no ad and lots of content. I also got a very nice email from the editor telling me the site was listed

    Yup - I've gotten 3 blogs listed there now - they were all good ones, mostly personal blogs and they were listed within the first 6 months after submission - better than DMOZ imo.

    Yep, my fan club site in sig has been in since maybe 1998. I never submitted either.

    And yeah Y! switched to scripted links about 4 months ago. That's why there are so many "is it worth $299.00?" threads.
