Fundraising - Can it benefit you in achieving a career?

    I've always wondered what it would be like to raise funds for a reputable charity and what the benefits of it would be for yourself.

    I say this and it does sound rude, though fundraising is hard work and I believe the fundraiser should be rewarded in some way.

    I would love to achieve my dream of becoming a profession golfer. And I believe I could raise funds through playing golf, which I do every week and love doing. I'm practising to be better at the game and I'm aware that becoming pro means you need to be good and have help around you to get there financially.

    What are your thoughts on this?
