    That's a good idea. For a political forum I started people at "average joe" and as they post more, they can eventually get up "future presidential candidate" or something.

    Instead of user titles, you could really do a mod like seo chat has. For every 100 posts, you can put more piles of quarters in front of them, that'd be kinda funny. I think sitepoint has a similar mod too.

    For user titles, how about going thru the video game console history?
