We are having a problem in the home construction. We ordered a front door
    from this website:
    http://www.wholesaledoorsource.com/wholesale_door_source_150.htm
It is almost 4 months we haven't got the door and when I call them they give me vague answers about looking into the matter.
Can anyone pls. suggest what action should I take?

Try contacting some sort of organisation that stands up for consumers in your country.

Contact the Better Business Bureau www.bbbonline.org

A good friend of mine who worked in customer service for years gave me some great advice - escalate, escalate, escalate. Keep asking to talk to the next person in charge until you get the answer you want - it has worked for me 99% of the time.

Try calling the company president directly - that works the best. I once called the president of a parent company about a ISDN installation nightmare that had dragged on for 3 months - the *lackey* who was jerking me around told me under no circumstance would they refund my money for the botched job. Once I got the president on the phone, I had the matter resolved in about 5 minutes and had my check in 3 days.

Lesson: Lackeys are usually wrong about what a company will and won't do...

my first advice would be to skip ever buying furniture form ANY "wholesaler".
wholesale = fucking TRASH made in canada from particle board and spay on stain.

Go with a local company so you can keep track on whats happening, and you always have the ability to just walkin and see where your project is at during the building phase. Dont forget, you get what you pay for!
