    I don't gamble. I think if you gamble you become trapped doing it. It hard to stop, once
    you get into the habit of doing it regularly.

    Yeah, agreed. I consider gambling out of your control. Poker is actually more of a game because the lucky elements doesn't have total impact.

    True and I like to play cash games where there is more skill involved. In tournaments you have to get very lucky to win them.

    Yes and no. If you use poker tracking software you can still get pretty good reads on your opponents. Even without using a HUD if you are only playing a single table and being very observant it's not hard to get reads.

    I went once to a casino and put in $1 in the slots. I won about $50 and called it quits.

    I was tempted to keep going but I decided that was good enough for me.

    It is not something I do often, but 1-2 times a month I may go and place some bets on the roulette, or play a hand of poker.

    Thats almost right, you play poker adn you do gamble. But you gamble less than a slot machine player. Its matter of knowledge and luck.

    Semantically I do gamble as does anyone that owns a business or goes to school...
    Legally I am not gambling when I play poker (the law here in California). And pragmatically speaking I do not gamble when playing poker. You might, but that is only because you don't know how to play.

    SO my final answer is I do not gamble, I play poker...
