    Games Writer Wanted

I am looking for a games writer who can easily review casual games – mainly downloadable ones from casual gaming sites. You must have a passion for gaming and experiencing playing a wide variety of games as this will obviously shine through in your writing style.

You must be able to write in fluent English, have a likeable writing style that readers can identify with, be passionate about playing and reviewing the games (regardless of how simplistic they may seem) and be very professional in delivering work on time once a deadline is agreed. In summary I am looking for the following skills:

    • A writer with good gaming experience
    • A writer who can play casual games and write reviews easily after playing each game for a short while
    • One who has a quirky and unique style of writing relating to games
    • Fluent in English with unbroken grammar and very few spelling mistakes
    • An individual not a company
    • Someone who can accept Paypal as payment
    • Someone who will invoice me for their work – an invoice template will be provided
    • Someone who has a past history of games writing
    • Be able to complete at least 3000 words per week
In return the writer will be paid $1.50 per 100 words and paid promptly by Paypal on completion of the work.
We have plenty of work going; the right writer will be awarded with regular work of between $300-$800 per month once a trial period has past. This could then progress into an even bigger role with much more work in the future as we are a stable company with growth in the gaming sector.

If you are interested in this opportunity then simply PM me with the following information:

    • Name and Location
    • Your previous writing experience
    • Your previous games writing experience
    • Your previous game playing experience
    • How many words you would be able to write per week

If I am interested in your PM I will request that you write a specific gaming review to test your ability. If the review meets the standard you will be paid for it and then put on trial. You will be giving a work sheet from which to complete 10 more articles off. If after these 10 articles all is well then we will proceed with more articles and a more permanent arrangement.

A few words of advice before you submit your application. As a company we work to tight deadlines so we expect our writers to do likewise and honour any deadline agreed on whilst maintaining the quality standard of work provided throughout the trial period. We don’t expect flimsy excuses as to why you failed to submit your work for the week. In return we pay promptly and in full by Paypal. Usually within 2 working days of receiving the work through.

We already have one writer who works regularly with us and enjoys the regular income through playing and writing reviews for games. We have a trusted and good relationship with the writer and this is what we are looking to do with another writer.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

What does "trial period" mean? Is this rate you're offering an introductory rate to be increased later?

Are you offering compensation for the time invested in playing the games? For the download and install of each and every game onto their computer?

Surely you must be offering some other perk besides $1.50/100 words, with that laundry list of requirements you posted.
