Where Kalina is on the east coast it is now 2:44 PM.

Where I am in western Florida (central US time zone) it is 1:45 PM

Kalina should be getting up from her deep sleep soon, that is the good news SE

The bad news is that she is going to get hard on us because I told her she was running with a bad crowd and she would have to start being mean.

That's just to keep you in line SE :D

Hey, I've been going to bed at decent times lately, lol.

Just my laptop finally arrived and I've been working on getting it all set-up and programs installed.

If it helps I was actually laying down napping in between downloads. :p

And yes blame SE and his long arms for me being up late.

Before you get on me Anthony, it was ordered long before you told me not to go with windows, lol.

It's the same as my computer, it's an HP. I needed it to run Adobe off of to make my designs. My computer can't handle Adobe that well. I needed a Pentium I guess.

It was $1500 Canadian and then the UPS guy had me pay another $280 for customs I guess.

You can see the exact same one here - http://www.edifyingspectacle.org/thanks/asinsearch_B0001YFZ8W/

    Ooooooooo.....

    That's a pretty laptop.

It would match my PC too I think....

Maybe I should think about getting one???

Mind you, I only just bought this, so I should really wait a while.

Saying that, my old laptop has completly fallen over now, so it may be worth investing in a new one...

I'm pretty keen on these at the moment...

Sitting here in my robe in a chair cursing at SE most of the morning, now I have my chance to take shots at you until midnight or so until I pass out :)

What software do you own or use to design sites, we demand a complete list

Why have you been cursing at me?

The only bit of software you need to design a site is Photoshop and TextPad...

SE I love the Alienware too, those are some sexy little machines. With me it has to look good or I don't want it, even though what's inside is more important.

Yeah AC, why curse SE? He's a sweetheart.... right?

What SE said, I just use Photoshop and do my coding manually in whatever I feel like at the time.

I own this software called Kalina and it..... LOL... right! :p

You are still a PC user, that is one reason to curse you SE.

You better go read all of my posts in the last few days, I have been talking about you SE, you may not like everything you read.

If you don't switch OS to MAC I am going to drop you off of my buddy list

Anthony - I couldn't care less what you have written about me - least of all go trawling through your last posts to find out...

You can say what you like - I'm sure it won't effect people's opinion of me.

RE: Switching to mac - It's not going to happen buddy...

I love Windows, never have any problems with it (Well not often anyway) and also can't remember the last time I had a problem with a virus or whatever..

I'm thinking about setting up my old box with Linux (Of some kind - not sure what yet), so I can understand more about the Linux OS and running sites on it...

Does that make you feel better?

Slinging mud at you two (meaning SE and I) or you too meaning me K/C?

As far as you making me feel better, learning linux is great SE, yes that does make me feel better.

When Novell comes out with the next generation Linux OS for desktops that will be a killer program (they are working on it as we speak) so M$ Patch of a Patch security nightmare OS will be what it is, a backward piece of crap.

Why do you think Steve Balmer wants to come out with the $100.00 PC, to keep folks hooked on the flawed OS.

That is the only way he can keep market share on the piece of crap OS, make it cheaper and cheaper and sell Billions of copies of the flawed piece of crap.

Another M$ business plan exposed. :)

I thought that I had asked for a complete list of the software used.

So that's all you use is Photoshop?

You do not use Dreamweaver or Fireworks or any other programs?

Do you design your own templates and navigation?

Neither of you use video editing software yet?

I use video editing software, but not for websites...

I'm not an editor though... We do have an editor at work for the video stuff... He uses Premier Pro - so do I when I play around with that kind of thing...

But yes, All I use is photoshop, maybe occationaly Flash.

All the rest is done by hand.

Yes - I also do the templates navigation etc...
