Generating Unique id in wordpress while registration..?

    Hi, i have a problem where i have to generate reference id for scheme registration that has to be unique for single registration. One user can book for different schemes right based on their requirement.
    Im doing the following in wordpress:
    I took 4 html elements like two select boxes and two text boxes..
    I select the values from two select boxes like 1. no of months and 2. how much amount to be paid per month and it 1st textbox automatically calculates the amount to be paid by the user and 2nd select box shows what the user inturn gets back...
    For the above task i would like generate id using contact form 7 or allowed any custom code also. Could some one help me out. Thanks in advance
