Getting to grips with Adsense Placement?

Hi Everyone,

Im reletively new to this forum and have been blown away by the sheer amount of great info/experiences/tips etc... etc..

I have noticed that people have been giving tips on the best way to position and display Adsense ads..

Could someone please take a look at my site and give some tips on the best way to maximise the effectiveness of ads on my site...

... The landing page is:

- i have no ads on the landing page (which may or may-not be a mistake?).

The rest of the pages are pure content...

... the site has only been active for a week and i am currently getting about 80 to 90 unique visits per day... but only 1 or 2 clicks (maximum)!!

 

My never dying tip:

1. Remove the landing page
2. Put a large rectangle on top of every page
3. Put a wide skyscraper on the left of your pages
4. Put G search boxes on the top of the large rectangle
5. Put a link unit on top of the search box

I have took your suggestions on board and removed the landing page..(took me weeks to create, but was ultimately eye-candy)...

... anyone else have any suggestions??
